Richard lives and breathes all things cricket with a bevy of successes throughout his journey, including as a coach for Australian Test cricketer, the great Glenn Maxwell. We are proud to have Richard as our Head Batting Coach, offering specialized cricket classes. His list of coaching positions and experience speaks volumes about Richard’s passion for developing the next generation of cricketing greats. Richard will help you develop your skillset from good to great, to Elite, as he has for so many across the cricketing world.

Passionate about helping people be the best they can be, whether they be students, athletes, or coaches," is how Paul describes himself. Saxon HP is proud to offer the services of Paul as our Head Cricket Academy Coach, providing specialized cricket classes. Paul brings an incredible wealth of experience and success stories to everyone he works with at Saxon HP. As the Coach Development Manager at Cricket Victoria (2009-2017), Paul has been instrumental in the direction of coaching for our up-and-coming amateurs through to elite players and remains highly influential in identifying the next generation of elite youth athletes.
Meet Phil Lovell
ABOUT Phil
Phil is a Level 3 coach and has nearly two decades experience coaching youth representative teams. Including roles with the Northern Territory Under 17 and Under 19 teams at the National Championships, the Outer East Eagles and Inner East Emus in the Cricket Victoria Youth Premier League (YPL), Croydon Cricket Club in the Victorian Sub District Cricket Association (VSDCA) Craig Shield competition, and with the Ringwood District Cricket Association (RDCA) in the Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union (VMCU) competition.
Coupled with my experience in youth representative ranks I have also had extensive experience at senior level with roles at Richmond, Fitzroy- Doncaster and Essendon in the Victorian Premier Cricket competition, Croydon in the VSDCA, Pint Cricket Club in the Darwin and District Cricket Association (DDCA), and Croydon North in the RDCA.
